  • The term "Little" was stolen From the DID/ Osdd community many systems had to use a different term because they don't want kink associated with their child alters

  • Ddlgers have a history of ignoring and blantly disrespecting peoples DNIs

  • Ddlg and abdl is extremely harmful to victims of Csa and sexual assault and makes many victims extremely uncomfortable

  • Many terms that ddlg use are actual used to groom minors such as "princess parts"

Age regression is when somebody reverts to a child-like state of mind. This could mean that they experience intrusive thoughts/ panic attacks or they get hypersexual or act harmfull towards themselves. It is also known as negative regression. Such an experience can be very upsetting and stressful but surely nothing to be ashamed of. Half-regression (also known as: partial regressed/ semi-regression) involves partially adopting childlike behaviors without a complete return to a childlike state. It can feel like u cling onto your regular minspace or u are kind of stuck in the middle. People who experience that often have no struggles with doing the tasks they do when big but also enjoy their tiny side and childish/ animal-like things. Age dreaming is a term used to describe the experience of engaging in childish activities and interests without going into a regressed mindspace.Why is regression not a kink?
A common misconception from outsiders is that age regression is related to kink/ bdsm/ other sexual communities. While in reality, age regression is never, ever sexual, whereas kink is inherently sexual. If one was to have sex with an age regressor while they were regressed, it would be like having sex with a child, as the age regressor is in the headspace of a child. Inappropriate punishments and a kinky power dynamic can be rly triggering and damaging and are also very out of place for someone in a regressed state as they are unable to properly consent in that state! If someone involuntarily regresses while being active (which can happen due to sexual trauma, for example) that means full stop.
